What's happening in your Local Authority?

 

With the many changes to post-16 vocational  provision this is an opportunity to look at and discuss the data and national policy to see what’s happening in your area and implications for the future.

This half day workshop is aimed at Local Authority officers and Head of Sixth Form in your Local Authority.

Taking an overview approach the workshop enables centres and officers to explore objectively the current provision and performance in schools in your local authority and look to the future.

The workshop programme includes:

·          Overview of Level 3 Vocational Provision and Performance within the local authority

·          National Policy and Post-16 Vocational Education

·          Implications for  your young people

·          Post-16 Level 2 English and maths

·          Next Steps for your Post-16 Vocational Provision and Performance
