Education Data Matters - January 2015

The Post-16 LPUK Datadashboard:

We are currently carrying out updates to the Post-16 LPUK Datadashboard Spring Update to bring you the most up-to-date information in an effective, easy-to-use format. The Datadashboard will be available to subscribers following the release of validated KS5 results data by the DfE. Click here to find out more about our Post-16 LPUK Datadashboard.

Big Numbers:

The Department for Education has recently released its latest ‘NEET scorecard’. This dataset contains information on the proportion of young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) in each local authority (LA) in England.

At Learning Plus UK Data, we have used these data to compare the percentages of 16-18 year olds NEET, across England. The figures have shown a positive overall, with a decline in the rates of NEET in most regions.  Explore our interactive graphic here.

A new, simple 'Parent report' was added to the Tracking & Monitoring Tool. It gives an overview of each student’s current attainment in relation to national and centre targets for every subject. Click here  to learn more about the report and other updates to the tool.
