Statistics

FE data library: apprenticeships

Department for Business, Innovation & Skills

This statistical data set provides information on apprenticeships through a number of reports broken down by starts, achievements, sector, framework, geography, gender, age and others.

The data show 255,800 Apprenticeship Framework Achievements in 2013/14, compared to 252,900 in the previous year. The Sector Subject Areas with the greatest number of achievements were Business, Administration and Law (79,480) and Health, Public Services and Care (57,830).


Primary school performance tables: 2015

Department for Education

The 2015 tables show:

  • results from the key stage 2 tests in:
    • reading
    • grammar, punctuation and spelling
    • mathematics
  • key stage 2 teacher assessments in English, reading, writing, mathematics and science
  • key stage 1 to 2 pupil progress measures in reading, writing and mathematics

National curriculum assessments at key stage 2: 2015 (revised)

This statistical first release (SFR) provides revised results for 11-year-olds at national, regional and local authority level.

Information has been set out by:

  • gender
  • ethnicity
  • first language
  • free school meal eligibility
  • disadvantage
  • special educational needs
  • Income Deprivation Affecting Children Index (a measure of economic, social and housing issues)

It includes results from the key stage 2 tests in:

  • reading
  • mathematics

  • writing

It also includes figures on expected progress between key stage 1 (age 7) and key stage 2 (age 11).


Phonics screening check and key stage 1 assessments: England 2015

This statistical working paper contains details of a possible new methodology for measuring the gap in attainment between disadvantaged pupils and others over time.

The National Vocational Qualifications included in these tables cover all those accredited by Ofqual and are competence-based qualifications built on national occupational standards and criteria established by Ofqual. This includes Vocationally Related Qualifications and Scottish Vocational Qualifications.
